Director - Renewals Sales is responsible for leading the inside sales teams by overseeing sales, operations and strategies for existing customers of Veeam software. This will be strategic role leading our Renewals teams to identify upsell and cross sell opportunities within our rapidly expanding customer base, while working cross functionally with our multi-tier channel ecosystem to advocate for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Geo strategy, coordination, with strong management and leadership abilities
  • Able to analyze business, create and execute on plans and projects that focus on exceeding targets, internal efficiencies and partner/customer satisfaction
  • Analyses regional market dynamics to maximize existing success
  • Educates team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends. Ability to coach and develop Managers as well as individual contributors.
  • Support in negotiation of contracts or large maintenance agreements
  • Confident speaker with ability to present, interact, and connect with executives and employees. Ability to understand and articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Prepares and executes on business growth plans
  • Develops strong, positive relationships with software partners and internal teams
  • Develops relationships with and communicate results to executive leaders
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA is a plus
  • At least five (5) years of sales management experience is required, at least three (3) years of Managing Managers  
  • Must be a high performing sales manager with a proven track record of consistently exceeding established measurements for goals and objectives
  • Experience in Renewals sales is a plus
  • Experience compiling, querying, analyzing and reporting data, strong forecasting skills
  • Experience in working with complex agreement offerings and coaching to position the benefits of those offerings for customers
  • Salesforce.com as well as MS Office package proficiency
  • Must be a skilled motivator with demonstrated ability to coach and develop renewals staff to exceed targeted sales objectives and deliver high quality service to customers
  • Exceptional management and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong people development skills
  • Must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
